WHAT AFFECTS THE PRICE OF A PRIVATE JET CHARTER?

What determines the cost of chartering a private jet?

The greatest impact on the price is, of course, the length of the flight, because the longer the route, the higher the charter price. Furthermore, the length of the aircraft's ferry flight to the departure point also influences the price. The longer the distance the aircraft must cover to pick up passengers, the higher the price, even if the destination route is not long at all. Intercontinental flights are always much more expensive – this is because the aircraft often doesn't fly between the outbound and return flights, but waits for passengers there. Or, if it departs for other charters, its repositioning between continents generates a high cost. Not all aircraft have long enough ranges to cover long distances directly, so the lower availability of aircraft for a given flight also increases the price.

The second most important factor is the type of aircraft. The larger and more luxurious the aircraft, the higher the charter price. But not always! Sometimes a larger aircraft has a shorter layover, or is parked at the airport where customers want to depart and there's no next flight scheduled, so you can snag a larger aircraft at the price of a light jet. Typically, however, a larger aircraft means more comfort and, therefore, a higher charter price.

The choice of jet size is influenced by the number of passengers. For two people, a smaller aircraft can be selected, but for a larger group, light jets may not accommodate all passengers or luggage, or may not fly directly to longer routes from Poland, such as the popular city of Malaga. Therefore, we choose a plane not only based on the route length and number of passengers, but also on the amount and weight of luggage. It's important to remember that each additional passenger usually incurs an additional fee due to airport fees, catering, and local taxes.

Private jet flight prices also depend on the flight date. Summer is by far the highest and most expensive season, when demand for private flights is very high and charter prices are high. Additionally, flight schedules are packed, and it's very difficult to find an available private jet for charter at an attractive price overnight or on the same day. For this reason, customers often choose to charter a private jet in advance between June and September, especially if they're looking for an attractive price or a specific aircraft model.

The peak season also includes all holidays, long weekends, important sports and music events in Europe, and business fairs. Sometimes, simply postponing your departure by a few days can result in a much more attractive price.

It's also important to remember that each airport has its own pricing list for landing, parking, and ground handling fees. Some destinations are very expensive, such as Mykonos, where the landing and departure fee alone is €4,000, and during the holiday season, the aircraft has a maximum parking time of 60 minutes. And this is no exception – many busy airports have very high prices for private general aviation flights.

The final price also depends on additional services. Extended catering, airport VIP lounges, ground transportation from the airport, on-board Wi-Fi, gifts, flowers, or any other special requests will impact the final flight quote.

At BigDealJet, we prepare a flight quote that always takes into account all of the above, as well as any other additional fees that may apply. This ensures that each client receives an offer tailored to their preferences while taking into account all costs.

We will customize the offer to meet your specific requirements and expectations.
